Poster Print - Terms and Conditions

Placing an order through our website indicates your acceptance of these terms and conditions. We may amend these terms and conditions from time to time, so you may wish to check here when placing an order. Each order is treated as an offer by you to purchase, subject to these terms and conditions. These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights. Anim8design Ltd has the right to refuse to supply, at our discretion, any printed matter ordered by you.

Product descriptions and colour

Descriptions of goods are for the sole purpose of giving an approximate description of the items/prints for the customer's consideration before purchasing. Whilst every effort is made to ensure that images and colours are a fair representation, 100% accuracy cannot be guaranteed - screen calibration also affects how colours appear. Anim8design Ltd does not provide any warranty for the fading of colours or hygrostability of print products. We endeavour to achieve the best possible colour reproduction of client uploads. However, due to the variant nature of printing processes, we shall not be required to guarantee an exact match of colour or texture between the final product and your original uploaded image.

Availability

All of our images/products are subject to availability. Our products/images may be withdrawn at any time. If we find, for whatever reason, that your supplied image is unsuitable for our printing process, we will contact you and offer you the opportunity of uploading an alternative image or receiving a full refund.

Timescale

We endeavour to produce printed items within 1-5 days of receiving payment, excluding weekends. Orders are sent with Royal Mail/Parcelforce and take from 1-10 days to deliver within the UK. Deliveries are generally quicker, but please note these are Royal Mail/Parcelforce specified delivery times, not ours.

Deliveries

Delivery addresses are as input by the customer on our website. If you are not available to receive your delivery, Royal Mail will post a collection card through your door; Parcelforce will normally attempt to redeliver once or twice. Your parcel must be collected within 7 working days. If the parcel is returned to our offices, an additional shipping charge will be levied.

In the event of any item going missing, we will use the signed-for confirmation/track-and-trace service offered by Royal Mail/Parcelforce. If your parcel cannot be located, we will reprint the items and reship at no cost to you.

If an item is missing from your delivery, please first check whether your order has been part-shipped. For any shortages, or damage in transit, please let us know by email as soon as possible, and ideally within 2 working days - this helps us meet the courier's own claim deadlines and resolve things quickly. Please keep all packaging, as this will be required for any claim against Royal Mail/Parcelforce. This prompt-notification request is to help us act fast on your behalf, and does not affect your wider 30-day return rights described below. All such claims are resolved by a reprint and re-delivery at no cost to you.

Events outside our control

We are not responsible for any delay or failure in carrying out our duties under this Agreement if the delay or failure is caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control. These circumstances include civil commotion, riots, flood, drought, fire, postal/courier service disruption, strikes and machine breakdowns. You must allow us reasonable time to carry out our duties in these circumstances. Our normal business hours are Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm. However, orders may be placed through our website outside of these hours. If for any reason we are closed for business, we will post a public notice on this website.

Payment

We accept PayPal, Google Pay, Apple Pay, and all major credit and debit cards, processed securely through Adobe Commerce Payment Services and PayPal's own secure payment systems. Your payment details are entered directly into our payment provider's secure, encrypted systems - we do not see, process, or store your full card details on our own servers. Your order will only be produced once payment has been successfully authorised.

Your right to cancel

Because every item we produce is personalised and made to order from your own uploaded photo, our products are exempt from the standard 14-day distance-selling cancellation right under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 (personalised/bespoke goods are excluded from that right). This doesn't affect your rights if something is wrong with your order - see Refunds/Returns below.

Refunds/Returns

If you are not satisfied with your poster, please email us within 30 days of delivery. We will offer either a reprint or a full refund. In the event of a refund request, the customer must return the poster(s) to us at their own cost. A full refund will be issued within 5 working days of us receiving the returned item.

As our posters are individually printed and customised to each customer's own image, a refund or reprint will be offered where the standard of our product is reasonably considered to be inferior to what should be expected, in line with your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Copyright

Poster Print is owned and operated by Anim8design Ltd. This site, or any portion of it, may not be reproduced, duplicated, copied, sold, resold, or otherwise exploited for any commercial or non-commercial purpose. All images on this site are the sole copyright of Anim8design Ltd.

By uploading an image for printing, you confirm that you own it or otherwise hold the necessary rights to use and reproduce it, and you agree to indemnify Anim8design Ltd against any claim arising from your use of an image you were not entitled to use. Anim8design Ltd accepts no liability for copyright infringement arising from images uploaded by clients.

Your images

Your image data is stored on our server for the purpose of completing your order. Digitally transferred images linked to a completed order are deleted from our server 3 months after the order date; images uploaded but never used to complete an order are deleted after 30 days. Anim8design Ltd has no obligation or liability for unauthorised access to your transmissions by third parties.

Governing Law

This agreement will be governed by English law and will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
