1. Measure your space

   Frames come in a wide variety of shapes, from 'A' sizes, to specially created standard sizes to fit your phone or camera photography. Additionally, specialist panoramic or square shapes allow you to frame your more creative photography.

   Taking accurate measurements is one of the most important steps in creating a custom frame. Make sure you measure the future location of your brilliant artwork! There's no point getting a massive panoramic and then attempting to hang it in a tiny square space! Sometimes an estimate is sufficient, on other occasions, it's better to take your time and work out just how much space you would like to enhance with your new treasure.

2. Uploading your picture

   Click on the blue 'Upload Photo' button on the product page. This will take you to our uploading page. Simply 'drag and drop' or 'click in the grey box' and select the picture you wish to have printed and framed. We support a number of file types: PNG, JPG, GIF or BMP. If you file is in a different format - not a problem, email us the photo and we will process your order manually.

   When your photo has finished uploading a preview will appear.

3. Select Print Style (panoramic and standard frames)

   For square frames or 'A' sizes, SKIP to the next section.

   If you are framing a panoramic photo or have chosen to use our specialist camera sizes, we offer a selection of ratios to perfectly display your picture.

   Select each style and watch the preview update which each choice. Decide which one best suits your image, remember that you can edit the crop in the next section.

4. Choose Print Size

   Select a print size from the list of sizes displayed.

   The size you choose is the for the actual print itself. The optional mount and the width of the frame add to the overall size of your final artwork. You can amend your size selection at any time during the framing option choices.

5. EDIT crop or positioning (optional)

   If you would like to amend the crop or the positioning of the image, then click on the edit button under the preview to open the edit window.

   You can move the positioning of the positioning by simply dragging the box within the image. Alternatively, grab any corner and re-size or crop.

   Click CONFIRM when you have completed your adjustments.

6. Click NEXT STEP to choose your frame

   The first step to framing your photos is to choose the right colour and styling. Selecting complementary colours or going for a bold look with contrast will ensure that your framed artwork makes a statement and becomes the focal point of the room. If you are feeling really creative, try mixing and matching frame styles and colours to create unique combinations for different photos in various locations throughout your home.

   Select your frame from our range of colours. Each of our colour ranges has a selection of picture frames in varying widths and finishes. As you hover over each thumbnail, the details of each particular frame will appear to help you make you choice.

   Click on a particular thumbnail and the preview will update, allowing you to view how each frame will look with your photo. The width and texture of the display will update to give you the best possible idea of how your final purchase will look. You can choose from our different frame types – classic, contemporary, modern, rural and coastal – and colours – black, wooden, silver, gold, stained or white – to perfectly match your style.

7. Choose a mount (optional)

   We offer a variety of mount colours, so take the time to experiment before making a final decision. Depending on the size of your photo print, you may wish to vary the width of your mount to better enhance your image. You can add up to two mounts in the same or different colours. Remember that you will hopefully with to keep your sublime artwork for years to come!

   Each time you make a selection the preview will update to reflect your changes.

   Our mounts are colourfast, bleed-resistant and acid free to ensure your print will remain in perfect condition. Our mountboard is produced from European managed woodlland from virgin wood pulp with a white core, enhancing your photography and happy memories.

8. Glazing Type

   • Clear or anti-glare?

     If your image is of a magical sunset landscape, then what could be better than a clear reflective surface that makes your sunset sparkle against your wall? If you have a memorable image of family and friends that you wish to see individual faces without reflectivity or are shinning a light directly on the frame, then perhaps you would be better off with an anti-glare finish.

   • Glass

     We use high quality framing glass in clear, anti-glare or art glass (virtually invisible with minimal reflection). Our framed prints are extensively packaged to ensure your print will arrive in good condition.

   • Acrylic glass

     Our specialised acrylic glass for frames has greater optical clarity than glass. Acrylic is lighter and less fragile than glass, making it ideal for busier locations or larger frames. Additionally, our acrylic glass filters over 95% of harmful UV rays.

9. Paper choice

   Our photos are printed on the highest quality paper in high resolution and fade resistant inks, your pictures will stay vibrant and colourful. A semi-gloss finish or matte finish are equally suitable for framing.

   • Matte paper generally comes into its own once behind glass or acrylic glass, especially for artwork.
   • If you feel your photo would benefit from some reflectivity, choose semi-gloss.
   • If you are unsure, simply select 'Let us choose', we will do our best to ensure your image is displayed perfectly.
